We have a great crowd here, enjoying all the cultural events, food, and just the energy of the place! We have a great vantage point of the grounds, thousands of people are at the stalls, we’ll be bringing you photos of that shortly…

Isha Gramotsavam 2007 is on!

We’re about to give you some early morning photos and we’re watching some great cultural dances right from the balcony seat here at Communications Central, so we hope to get you some video of this soon…

Just behind the culturals are the preliminary matches of both womens throwball and mens volleyball. I heard those Gobi ladies are in peak form for their 4th major tournament. Lets see if we can send you some shots of that as well.

Well, we finally reached the grounds today after a long journey from Isha Yoga Center to Chennai. Preparations are in full swing, hammers pounding all around, volunteers scurring around from one side of the massive grounds to the other, arranging everything from sound systems, chair arrangements, stall items and just about you name it…

We have a few photos of the day to show you, from our half-dozen photographers that will be covering the event. We hope they’ll be giving us a great slice of the day tomorrow…

So, speaking of tomorrow, we have a lot in store for you that will be joining us from the net. Now that our internet connection has successfully come through (thanks to BSNL for their hard work), and we have nice speedy connection we can announce very confidently that we will be streaming the evenings events, starting with the launch of the GreenHands initiative and culminating with Sadhguru’s evening sathsang…

Anna University welcomes Isha Gramotsavam 2007

Welcome to the official Isha Gramotsavam 2007 Blog site.

We will be updating the site different media, features and resources for those participating both in person and through the net. On Sunday, we’ll be having live web coverage with photos, videos and audio with continuous blog commentary. Those attending the event in person can see the program schedule, get directions, and even find a nearby room to stay (better book early!)
